The Village of Broadway

Broadway is often referred to as the "Jewel of the Cotswold's" and "The Show Village of England" because of its sheer beauty and magnificence.

The "broad way" leads from the foot of the western Cotswold escarpment with a wide grass-fringed street lined with ancient honey coloured limestone buildings dating back to the 16th century.

Tisanes Tea Rooms occupy a 17th century Cotswold stone building full of olde worlde charm and atmosphere.

At Tisanes we aim to provide a warm welcome and a friendly environment  for our customers to relax and experience the delights of our tea room which has full waitress service.

We are situated on the High Street, next to the War Memorial and open from 10 am until 5 pm every day (except Christmas Day).  

The garden is open during the spring and summer, weather permitting. 

Wheelchair access is available in the tearoom.

We offer a wide range of excellent coffees, quality leaf teas & soft drinks coupled with a varied menu for breakfast, lunches and light meals.

 Gluten-free options are also available. 

Our superb range of cakes cater for all tastes and our homemade Victoria Sponge, Banana Cake & Tea Loaf are specialties. 

Tisanes is licenced to sell alcohol as an accompaniment to a meal.

Tisanes also have an extensive range of preserves, marmalades, curds, jellies, chutneys, mustards, oils, spices, sauces & gift sets from Elizabethan England.  

Elizabethan England produces a range of products based on genuine 16th century stillroom recipes.

Using honey as a sweetener and containing no artificial additives these products not only look good but taste good as well.

We also stock a good selection of tea related books and a variety of nostalgic music on CD.

TISANES WIN AWARD OF EXCELLANCE FOR THIRD YEAR RUNNING

We are delighted to announce that Tisanes Tea Rooms have been awarded The Tea Guild's Award of Excellence for the third year running.

Membership of the prestigious Tea Guild is strictly by invitation only.  If the establishment meets the high standards required they will be invited to become a member after a visit by an incognito Tea Inspector.
